‘SIRI DHANYA MILLETS’ a pathway to total health
UPMA/ PONGAL with
millet zone's
'SIRI DHANYA' MILLET
​
INGREDIENTS:

1 cup of Foxtail Millets
-
¾ th cup of Greengram/Mung Half split with Greencover
-
1 table spoon Oil/Ghee
-
1 tb Jeera/Cumin
-
1 tb Black pepper Powder
-
2 Green chillies
-
Curry Leaves 15
METHOD:

Lightly fry both the grains separately in a kadai for 3-4 minutes to dehydrate them.

Cook them separately in cooker at 1:2 ratio with water.

After they are cooked, mix them together, add needed Salt, add TADKA and Mix well.
-
Again keep it on Low flame on stove, add 1 or 2 spoons of water if needed and mix well.
-
Pongal is ready !!
